Church is not a building

As God clarified the vision of Impact Church and the unique mission to accomplish it, a long term need and opportunity also became clear.  While all churches need a place to gather, most church buildings sit idle and unused the majority of the time.  Since we know that a church is not a building, but people, we developed a concept for a different kind of “church” building.

The Impact Center is a multi-use recreation center and sports park. It will serve primarily as a hub of community recreation activity throughout the week, including the growing Halo Hoops programs.  The Impact Center will be a place where the church can partner with and serve the people of Wilmington.  It will also house necessary office and gathering space for our ministries.
